![]() Was aghast at the state of some of the food out for public consumption: Multiple soups were apparently brought out as full pots early in. after he was done with his first one the girl that works there told him No and then went and talked to her manager, then the manager came and start yelling at us like we’re little kids and he was really really really rude he said that we have to finish our plates before we get another one so we told him we now and we’re not done yet we still eating but he didn’t listen and kept talking and his voice was loud and it was embarrassing for us in front of the people there, it was really bad bad service I will never go there again!!!!!!the funny and stupid thing that happened there that the manager told us if we leave any food in the plates he will see how many pounds are they and let us pay for it ,like how rude is that ,that’s a buffet ,so you can’t say that !!!!!!!! More We invited our relatives there ,we were 8 people all together and we’re eating, each one of us had a plate then my brother in law asked for another empty plate. We may change our mind after future visits to Flaming Grill, though. No coupons, $10.99 per adult and the kids were discounted. We liked it and we will be going back for the birthday lunches, but our favorite Asian buffet with Sushi bar is Chef Lin on Jefferson Pike, just for pure freshness of the sushi and overall food quality. Nothing against Golden Corral, they just wanted a change. I even tried the pizza and it was thick and yeasty and my daughters loved it.We went today because our church just announced, after 2 years, they are moving their monthly birthday celebration lunches from Golden Corral (which we love) to Flaming Grill & Buffet. I found the dumplings to be good, but not stuffed with the norm. The line at the Hibachi bar was so long we did not try it, but it must be good if so many people were willing to wait. There was more variety of sushi rolls than I have ever seen on a Sushi bar. The salmon in some kind of sauce was delicious - I usually find salmon a bit "fishy" but this was really good. All in all though, there was so much to choose from that if you didn' t like something, you just went back to try something else - which we DID! The bacon wrapped chicken was awesome. Some of the regular dishes - General Tsos, sweet and sour - were a bit tough and may have been on the bar a while. The cooked sushi rolls were a bit dry and the stuffed shrimp did not have much flavor (they LOOKED wonderful!). Some of the sushi rolls had a "fishy" taste to them, as did the crab rangoon (odd, as they should not have fish in them) which were not prepared as I have had at other Asian restaurants. We do have some complaints about preparation. There was something for all of us to to enjoy - pizza, chicken nuggets, fried fish, french fries for our little girls. Prime rib, bbq chicken, ham roast, whole MD crabs, crawfish, octopus salad, oysters on the half-shell, boiled shrimp, stuffed shrimp, fried shrimp, and that's before you ever get to the back of the restaurant where the Asian dishes, Sushi bar and Hibachi are located. Our waitress was always right there refilling our water and taking away dishes, asking if we needed anything, but not being bothersome at all.The food choices were AMAZING. ![]() Some people would not like this, but we were happy because our girls are a little rambunctious (even in Sunday dresses) and this way they couldn't bother any one else. ![]() We chose a booth and he seated us in the corner away from the buffet. The gentleman who seated us (I think he was the manager) asked what type of table we preferred because we have small children. We were treated to EXCELLENT customer service. Went there today,, for lunch after church for the very first time. ![]()
